From IT Manager’s Journal. Check it out, it’s not a bad read. And she gives iPlanet software the thumbs up! /me has a heart attack.
Oh, Too Funny…
Someone took Howard Dean’s “ARRGH!” speech from the Iowa caucus and mixed it up in GarageBand. Pretty damn funny, and even kinda catchy.
Check it out… mirrored for your pleasure

Bored… Bored.. Bored.
Well, I’m sitting here, at damn near 11:00pm, and I’m bored. I should really read my email, but that’d require too much thought, and is too much like work. I look at my AIM buddy list on iChat, but then I bail out ‘cause my boss is online for some bizarro reason and I don’t want him to ping me. There’s jack shit on TV. I could watch a DVD, but a cursory run through the collection doesn’t compel me to grab any of them. Guess I’ll take some cough medicine and wait for it to kick in and I’ll pass out on the couch.
Wait, is that the baby monitor? Yes! My son’s crying! I’m NEEDED!
/me runs off to check on the kid.
Wow, GarageBand Is WAY Cool.
I just got iLife ‘04 for the Mac, and the new app it includes, GarageBand, lets you make your own tunes. It’s got over 1000 software instruments and loops, and it’s just a matter of dragging and dropping things to where you want them.
I’m nowhere near a musical genius, but I can see that I’ll be loving this app. I just whipped up a little ditty in about 15 minutes… I call it “Wings Revisited” because for some reason it reminds me of the theme song to the TV show “Wings”. :) Click here to hear “Wings Revisited”, and let me know what you think.
Woot, New Toy!
Picked up a Linksys WRT54G wireless base station to replace my old Hawking junker. (Got it for a song - Microcenter had a deal on it as it was an open box special.)
I found the following links for it; apparently people have figured out it runs a Linux kernel. :)
