Well, the digg-gasm continues, and I keep getting more and more retarded comments on that Ubuntu billboard blog post from 2006. Apparently there are a bunch of whiners bitching that I block IE on this site. Whatever. Deal with it.

I gotta give a big thumbs up to Nullamatix though. He honestly and succintly tore apart the “arguments” these guys used, and then publically derided them for it. Way to go, bud. :)

To make you look at what your server’s doing. Heh. Apparently someone dugg (or is it “digg’d”?) a picture I took of a Ubuntu billboard in the Redwood City area almost a year and a half ago. I got a call from friends saying “Your server’s buried, dude!”

Well, kinda… the webserver was buried. But only cause I’d had it configured for 10 MaxClients at one time. Never figured on getting dugg’d. So I bumped it up to 100 MaxClients, and what do you know? It’s running a lot better. Woot.

Maybe I should blog more often, huh?

Well, it’s been sitting on my disk for a while, so I released Billix 0.17 - this includes Ubuntu Gutsy Gibbon (7.10). It’s only 2008, why not? Get it here. Thanks to the folks in Arstechnica’s #linux IRC room for reminding me that I still had to get that done.
