Specifically, this is about the bumper they are selling as a “case”. It’s ok, seems adequate assuming the glass front and back are tough enough. Time will tell there.
However, the little slot that’s on the bottom of the bumper that let’s the iPhone dock cable hook to the phone isn’t quite big enough to work with older iPod/iPhone cables or aftermarket cables. I could understand aftermarket incompatibility, but its not even compatible with older Apple cables. The picture shows a Belkin cable, but I’ve got this issue at home too with an Apple cable.
I think the “fix” is to cut the little lip out of the bumper. I’ll do that here in a bit assuming my pocket knife is sharp enough.
