Oooh, it’s a Ubuntu Billboard! I snapped this while at 70 mph going up 101 northbound (just after the Ralston exit in Redwood City, FYI).

I know the quality isn’t great, but hey, it’s a cellphone cam. What do you want?
It’s just great to see the World’sGreatestOS(TM) publicized somewhere in the Real World.

David has a point. I didn’t totally block IE users from accessing my site, but I did put an annoying red bar at the top of the screen that urged my users to switch to Firefox or Opera. I have removed it, but I think I might be reinserting it into the code.
To respond to David: Having characters that don’t match the encoding specified are not that big of errors. I think when people refer to IE as not being compliant, they are speaking about how IE handles HTML elements. (For instance, I can’t stand the spacing problems that result from using forms and tables in IE). I have given up on making my site compliant for IE and just let the IE users change browsers or leave.
Your blog was going to be cool just until the point where you try to force people to use Firefox.
People like you are useless on the net, no better than any other ‘control the futar of teh intarweb’ companies if you try to force a decision on other users.
Man, I really love this Billboard! It’ s really great! Thanks for posting.
