James, you are right. I didn’t catch that – I was reading my news feeds via Reeder on the iPhone and didn’t see that things were cut off (I’d seen the graphic before at the Oatmeal and LOL’d). I simply hit the “Mail Article” button and sent it to Posterous, which shot it here too, in the format you see. This wasn’t intentional and I do intend on making it right.

I’ll edit things to fix it up. Thank you for the catch, and I appreciate the feedback. Believe me, the last thing I want to to do is mis-attribute something.

While I appreciate that you liked to the original source (not My[confined]space but the Oatmeal), I find it pretty sleazy to have posted art with the Author’s title, tag and signature cut off.

Worse yet, in the feed readers, the comic got tagged in multiple spaces with a My[confined]Space tag, as though they were the original authors.

I normally wouldn’t even bother commenting, but a blog I follow is supporting poor practices used against a comic I follow, and I can’t just let that go without saying my piece.

Yeah, I almost always try to wait for 2nd gen Apple gear too. But the iPad is a weird thing, simply because it’s a natural extension of the iPhone and iPod Touch… Regardless, though, right now I have enough Apple gear (and other gear, I’m not gadget-picky) to keep me busy. If the price goes down on iPad, say, to $350 for an entry-level unit, then I might pick one up.
